Heat Pumps

Heat Pumps

The need for energy to warm our houses or water keeps increasing every day, and this places a significant demand on the supply of electricity and increases the need for the fossil fuels. To reduce the consumption of fossil fuels and cut down on the use of electricity for heating homes and water, different types of heat pumps were designed as an alternative energy source to get the needed heat.

There are 3 different types of heat pump which you can see below;

Air to Air

An air to air heat pump uses ambient heat from outside your property, compresses it and uses it to heat air for use inside your property. An air to air heat pump can also be used in the same way to cool a property.

Air to Water

An air to water heat pump uses ambient heat from outside your property, compresses it and uses it to heat either the hot water or heating system for use inside your property.

Ground Source Heat Pumps

Ground source heat pumps use ambient heat in the ground outside your property, compresses it and uses it to heat either the hot water or heating system for use inside your property.
